Mexique Numérique
A digital journey to discover Mexico from Montreal
Mexique Numérique was an exhibition that showcased a diverse collection of our own work, with the focal point being Mexico. Through our designs, we captured various facets of Mexican culture, including its gastronomy, history, tourism, and art. This exhibition served as a platform to present a contemporary perspective of Mexico to the Quebec public, featuring our most successful and practical designs.
The Tacopedia exhibition offered a unique and immersive experience, allowing visitors to embark on a gastronomic journey through Mexico. With its interactive installation featuring 360-degree images of natual and tourist destinations, the exhibition successfully showcased the country’s diverse culinary culture. These works commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism, provided a visually captivating way for attendees to explore and appreciate Mexico’s rich food heritage.
We created various interactive experiences, including one designed for chioldren that introduced the principles of sustainability, initially developed for the Guadalajara International Book fair. Additionally, we produced a virtual reality journey depicting the carriage rides of Benito Juarez for the Museum of Mexican History in Monterrey. Finally, we designed an interactive table with video games for up to eight players for the renowned OCHO restaurant in Mexico City.
We prioritize showcasing the colours of a culture in a way that goes beyond typical stereotypes or cliches.
The exhibition was warmly received in Montreal, a city known for its thriving multimedia culture. Bt incorporating electronic media and digital language familiar to Canadian audiences, visitors were able to immerse themselves in various aspects of our culture.
